The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring material accountability, supporting RDT&E Lab governance reviews, and enhancing inventory accuracy across operational departments.

AERMOR is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage and maintain federal property accounting and reporting systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring material accountability, supporting RDT&E Lab governance reviews, and enhancing inventory accuracy across operational departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting and reporting systems for federal property.
- Perform routine material accountability tasks to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Provide technical support for annual RDT&E Lab governance reviews and respond to data calls as needed.
- Coordinate and integrate inventory management efforts across operational departments.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, including: Computer workstations, servers, handheld radios, cables, peripherals, switches, routers, external storage devices, smartphones, and software.
- Utilize and maintain records in U.S. Navy and local inventory databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform physical inventory checks of hardware and software assets.
- Use NSWC PCD’s Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) Process as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management for both software and hardware.
- Strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, OneDrive, Excel), SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, Adobe Pro and database management systems.
- Ability to analyze, track, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with federal property accounting and reporting systems.
- Familiarity with Navy asset management processes and DRMO procedures.
- Experience with inventory control software and government database systems.
