AERMOR is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to support a mission-critical national security program focused on Mission Assurance, enterprise analytics, and operational decision support. The selected candidate will leverage government-directed enterprise data platforms, including Palantir Foundry, to develop scalable analytical solutions that enhance mission readiness, improve situational awareness, and enable data-driven decision-making. This position requires an accomplished technical professional capable of independently executing complex analytical efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions supporting enterprise-level mission objectives.


Responsibilities:

 
  • Develop, implement, and sustain enterprise analytical workflows supporting Mission Assurance activities.
  • Configure and utilize Government-directed enterprise data platforms, including Palantir Foundry, to support data integration, analytics, visualization, reporting, automation, and decision support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, analytical models, visualizations, and executive-level reporting products.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to identify trends, mission dependencies, vulnerabilities, and operational risks.
  • Integrate, transform, validate, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple Government data sources.
  • Develop scalable analytical products supporting mission analysis, critical asset identification, dependency mapping, Mission Assurance assessments, and enterprise risk management.
  • Automate analytical processes and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and data quality.
  • Support data governance initiatives through data validation, quality assurance, documentation, metadata management, and workflow traceability.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to identify analytical requirements and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Produce executive briefings, technical documentation, reports, dashboards, and decision-support products for senior leadership.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analytical personnel.
  • Support enterprise data architecture, analytical framework development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
 
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Current Palantir Foundry Application Developer Certification is required.
  • Experience developing enterprise analytics, dashboards, data visualizations, and automated analytical workflows.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise data platforms to support analytics, reporting, workflow enablement, and decision support.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, data quality management, and analytical best practices.
  • Experience applying machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and advanced statistical methodologies to solve complex business and operational challenges.
  • Experience translating complex technical findings into actionable insights for executive-level decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.


Compensation:

Compensation for this position is based on several considerations, including applicable contract labor categories, geographic location, relevant professional experience, technical expertise, education, certifications, and overall alignment with the role's requirements. AERMOR is committed to providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees throughout their careers. Salary Range: $170,000-$210,000/yr
