AERMOR is seeking a highly skilled Red Team Offensive Tool Developer to support advanced offensive cybersecurity operations. This role requires expertise in exploit development, custom tool creation, and advanced penetration testing techniques. As a member of our Red Team, you will play a crucial role in simulating sophisticated adversarial threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and enhancing our organization’s defensive posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom offensive tools, exploits, and payloads to support Red Team and penetration testing engagements.
- Identify gaps in existing tools and development techniques and engineer new solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Red Team operators to tailor tools and techniques for adversarial emulation and realistic threat simulations.
- Research, develop, and implement exploits against modern and legacy systems, ensuring the ability to bypass advanced defensive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed tools, including usage guidelines and operational procedures.
- Apply knowledge of cyber kill chains, adversarial TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and evasion methods to enhance tool efficacy.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and offensive methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Graduate of the National Security Agency Computer Network Operations Development Program (CNODP).
- DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification in accordance with DFARS 252.239-7001, minimum of CSSP Infrastructure Support.
- One of the following certifications:
- GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN)
- Offensive Security Exploit Developer (OSED)
- A minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional experience supporting Red Team or penetration test engagements, with a focus on exploit and offensive tool development.
- A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience developing in at least three (3) programming or scripting languages, such as:
- Python
- C++
- Java
- Assembly
- C#
- Rust
(or other equivalent languages)
