AERMOR is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Red Team Penetration Tester III to support advanced cybersecurity testing and offensive cyber operations. This role involves conducting comprehensive penetration testing engagements, emulating adversarial tactics, and identifying weaknesses across diverse systems and networks. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening organizational security postures through the development and execution of realistic threat scenarios.


Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Plan, execute, and report on penetration testing engagements across multiple environments, including networks, systems, and applications.
  • Develop and utilize penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike to simulate advanced persistent threats.
  • Emulate threat behaviors and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to assess and validate defensive measures.
  • Operate across various operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Mac OS, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform Active Directory assessments, including privilege escalation, lateral movement, and exploitation.
  • Engage in exploit development to assess system vulnerabilities and enhance penetration testing capabilities.
  • Identify gaps in existing tools and development techniques, proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Conduct scripting and programming using at least two languages, such as Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, or C#, to support tool development and automation.

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in one of the following fields:
    • Information Systems
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering
  • DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification in accordance with DFARS 252.239-7001, minimum of CSSP Auditor.
  • One of the following offensive security certifications:
    • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
    • Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)
    • Offensive Security Exploitation Expert (OSEE)
    • Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP)
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of full-time professional experience conducting penetration testing or offensive cyber operations across the following areas:
    • Developing and utilizing penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike.
    • Mimicking threat behaviors and simulating adversarial attacks.
    • Working across various operating systems: Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
    • Utilizing and assessing Active Directory environments.
    • Performing exploit development to support offensive operations.
    • Identifying gaps in penetration testing tools and techniques, and contributing to tool development and improvement.
    • Developing with at least two (2) scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#).
