AERMOR is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented INTEL COMSEC Specialist to join our cybersecurity operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the secure management, operation, and oversight of Communications Security (COMSEC) systems, devices, and procedures supporting sensitive government and defense operations.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in COMSEC management, Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) tracking, TACLANE network management, and collaboration with key personnel to ensure compliance with national and DoD-level security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Collaborate with key personnel to ensure proper storage requirements and secure handling of COMSEC material and cryptographic devices.
  • Coordinate and execute monthly and annual COMSEC management activities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements.
  • Track and manage program CCI equipment, including rekey status updates, audits, and compliance records.
  • Maintain the operation and integrity of primary GemOne workstations, including collaboration with system administrators to implement updates and enforce security controls.
  • Oversee and manage Tactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) networks, ensuring secure communications between tactical and strategic environments.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for COMSEC devices, cryptographic equipment, and network encryption systems.
  • Conduct TACLANE configuration management, including upgrades, patching, and rekeying procedures, ensuring systems remain compliant and mission-ready.

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in one of the following disciplines:
    • Information Systems
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering
  • Must possess an IAT Level III certification.
  • A combined total of ten (10) years of full-time professional experience across the following functional areas:
    • Collaboration with key personnel to validate and maintain secure storage requirements for COMSEC equipment.
    • Coordinating monthly and annual COMSEC management tasks, including inventory, rekeying, and audit processes.
    • Managing and tracking program CCI equipment and rekey statuses to ensure operational readiness.
    • Operating and maintaining GemOne workstations, working alongside system administrators for updates and security enforcement.
    • Managing TACLANE (FASTLANE) network configurations to support encrypted communications.
    • Providing troubleshooting support for COMSEC operations and related systems.
    • Performing TACLANE configuration management, ensuring all cryptographic devices are up to date and compliant with security protocols.
