AERMOR is seeking a Junior Web Developer to design, code, and document application programs for scientific systems and commercial projects. The selected candidate will support web architecture, development, and maintenance for both internal and external Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) web pages, while also developing applications and integrating data visualization and reporting tools.

AERMOR is seeking a Junior Web Developer to design, code, and document application programs for scientific systems and commercial projects. The selected candidate will support web architecture, development, and maintenance for both internal and external Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) web pages, while also developing applications and integrating data visualization and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance internal and external NSWC PCD web pages.
- Implement additional capabilities and functions to improve web applications.
- Maintain and update web content, ensuring submission standards and quality control.
- Perform routine website maintenance, including removal of stale pages and eliminating faulty URL links.
- Develop applications using C#, T-SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
- Maintain and support applications as required.
- Utilize modern development environments for coding, debugging, and issue tracking.
- Work with SQL databases, implementing T-SQL queries for data retrieval and processing.
- Use Atlassian’s Jira for bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management.
- Develop using Microsoft Visual Studio and VS Code.
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Management Studio and Azure Cloud Studio for database management.
- Manage Git-based repositories using Atlassian’s BitBucket.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess 1+ year of experience and SEC+ certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in C# and VB programming languages.
- Experience with SharePoint Designer and Site Collection Administration.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Web Services, Web Publishing, and Web Design Principles.
- Experience with SharePoint development using the SharePoint Object Model (2007 or 2010).
- .NET development for SharePoint Web Parts and ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) .NET SQL Server development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working in Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as: Java, C#, or Visual Basic, C++.
- Knowledge of SOLID design principles and JavaScript-based technologies (e.g., JQuery, JSON, ECMAScript).
- Experience with one of the following structured query languages: SQL, T-SQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks and cloud-based development.
- Prior experience in government or military web application projects.
