AERMOR is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist III to lead cybersecurity compliance, risk assessments, and security governance for NSWC PCD systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of DoD RMF, A&A processes, and security incident management, as well as the ability to interface with high-level DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA cybersecurity personnel. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience, a strong background in cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability management, and security risk assessments, and is comfortable with eMASS, ST&E, and RMF documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a lead cybersecurity resource, advising on policy implementation and compliance.
- Interface with DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA cybersecurity professionals to ensure security governance.
- Manage RMF compliance efforts, ensuring systems are properly accredited and meet security requirements.
- Lead security assessments, security control testing, and system accreditation efforts.
- Oversee IAVA vulnerability tracking and compliance reporting in VRAM and CMRS.
- Lead security incident response efforts, including forensic investigations and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure classified network security measures comply with DoD and DoN regulations.
- Represent NSWC PCD at Navy RMF process meetings and cybersecurity-related discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess SEC+ or equivalent certification.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and DoD IT security.
- Deep knowledge of DoD RMF, A&A processes, Navy eMASS, and security compliance standards.
- Experience with cybersecurity governance, risk assessments, and security testing.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools, including ACAS, VRAM, and CMRS.
- Strong ability to lead teams and interface with senior DoD cybersecurity personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro.
